About Us: Tour Our Farm
From our family farm to your family kitchen.
Taya is a local homesteader/farmer and is just changing professions from real estate agent to Adventure Tour Guide and on the farm she is the Garlic Queen. Before joining the real estate profession and buying the family farm, she had a lengthy career in project management, fund development, and small business ownership. She’s also volunteered with and supported a number of charitable and community organisations across the region, including The Children’s Miracle Network, Kids Breakfast Program, and the Elves Club just to name a few. Taya is an avid handcrafter, loving crochet, sewing and upcycling fabric and anything else she can find. Taya loves to paint and is well known in the artistic community. Taya lives with her family on 9 acres in upper Gibson’s on The Nine Acre Wood Farm where they grow Red Russian Garlic and are in the process of planting 3000 Christmas trees and starting her new venture “Giving Back Experiences”. Taya loves community, shopping local and charitable adventure. Taya is looking forward to becoming an involved member of the Sunshine Coast Community.
